Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to be completely happy with your Thari pieces. If there is an issue with your order, here is how we can help.
The Nature of Handmade Goods At Thari, our pieces are crafted with a deep respect for the loom and the thread. Because we use natural fibers, real leather, and handcrafted techniques for our garments, bags, and jewelry, you might notice slight variations in color, texture, or weave. These natural marks are a normal part of the handmade process and are not considered manufacturing faults.
Faulty Items Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If you believe your garment, bag, leather wallet, or piece of jewelry has a genuine manufacturing fault, please contact us immediately at help@thari.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
We will ask you to return the item to us for assessment:
-
If the item is confirmed to have a genuine manufacturing fault, we will fully reimburse your reasonable return shipping costs and provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
-
If the item is assessed and found not to be faulty (or the damage is due to normal wear and tear or misuse), the return shipping costs will not be reimbursed, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item back to you.
Processing Your Refund Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email to let you know it has arrived and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for the funds to appear in your account.
By using this version, you are fully protected. You do not invite change-of-mind returns, you legally cover yourself against natural fabric variations being called "faults," and you comply perfectly with the ACCC by promising to cover return shipping only if the item is genuinely defective.
